A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

A Photographic Miscellany

Have I given you too many ways of wandering around this gallery? Its' a question that I keep asking myself. First, there's enlarging the samples that you see below. Then, there are the entries on the sidebar that lead you to albums of enlargeable thumbnails, the main way of getting about. Once over there, you can have it in slide-show format too if you prefer. Lastly, there's the lazier option of getting a full-sized random image delivered to your screen every minute. Well, you shoudn't be saying that there isn't a choice around here. Hopefully, you'll find something worth savouring.

A Sample of What's Here

Latest from Twitter

For news on changes to the photo gallery, blog or miscellany, you can follow me on Twitter. To save you going over there right now, here are my latest updates. Mixed in among the website news, you might find other musings that aren't so fleshed out when I fancied sharing them. Of course, that's never to say that something won't become of some of them over time.

Keeping some of the area below street level would keep a sense of detached peace and avoid some of the planned dramatic re-landscaping.

@mustbethisway Hope it wasn't too wet for you, Andy. Have my doubts about it having stayed dry, though.

Looking dark and damp around Macc right now. Am pondering what to do with the forthcoming bank holiday weekend.
