Collected Long Distance Trails

It's amazing how things develop. After all, this blog started out as a news section for the rest of the website. With encouragement from readers, it has become a place for relating my countryside wanderings and musings about the world of outdoor activity. Walking, cycling and photography all are part of what I do out of doors and, hopefully, they will continue to inspire me to keep adding entries on here. Of course, there needs to be something of interest to you, dear reader, too and I hope that's the case. Thanks for coming.

As part of my ongoing pruning of the blog’s sidebar, the listing of long distance trails got moved here. It’s one that’s almost certain to grow as I come across more contenders and there many more out there to be encountered in Britain and Éire, as perusal of any OS, Harveys, OSNI or OSi map is bound to confirm to you. In addition to new trails, I may even get around to adding some summary musings on any of those along which I have had the opportunity to hike and there have only been a few of these thus far.
