A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

A Northern Traverse

A Northern Traverse

There are areas in the north of Scotland that yet have to be featured here for a number of reasons. First, there are those where I have yet to visit with areas such as Torridon falling into this category. In additon, there are places where I have been that are waiting in the wings. Included among these are the Western Isles and the Caringorms. Until they come on stream, here are some photos from places further in Scotland. Along with Eilean Donan Castle, not far from the Isle of Skye, there's Inverness and Aberdeen too. They all are reminders that I still have places to see afresh in Scotland.
