A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

A Journey Through Kerry: a County Laden with Delights

A Journey Through Kerry: a County Laden with Delights

When it comes to scenery, it might be said that Kerry folk have all the luck. Between appealing coastline and arresting hill country vistas, they certainly have more than their fair share. The Iveragh and Dingle peninsulas are packed full of both and the beaches along the north western coast attract many of a more leisurely mindset than hill wanderers like me. Even though I hail from nearby County Limerick and have gotten to see plenty of the county's attractions over the years, I am always left with more to see. Now that I think of it, a longer session of travelling about the region with a view to savouring more of its sights might be in order. Let's see what comes of that.
