A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

The Dales Way starts out in Ilkley and hugs the River Wharfe all of the way to Grassington. That ensures that any walking is a gentle affair and means that you are likely to meet many folk out on about of a beautiful day around such honeypots as Bolton Priory or Burnsall. After Burnsall, you find you yourself in countryside like this and Loup Scar comes before the Hebden Suspension Bridge. The long distance footpath doe go over that bridge to the other bank of the river with a footpath connection to Hebden for those wanting that idyllic village.
