A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

Here's more big wide open country and this pervades from Horton all of the way to Hawes. It's easy to stride at your own pace and relax on quiet well made tracks like these, so long as the 4x4 fraternity don't insist on churning them up. Personally, I cannot fathom why anyone would travel at 3 mph in a motorised vehicle when it's easier to walk than drive. Untrammelled tracks mean that you don't need to watch your foot placement or keep your eyes peeled for nefarious vehicles either.
