A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

When you leave the South Pennines after you on a northbound trek, the Pennine Way takes on a somewhat gentler aspect, for a short while anyway. In fact, I reckon that the stretch of the Way in the Yorkshire Dales is the best that I have sampled so far and might be the most pleasurable of the whole route. The section between Gargrave and Malham is very much of that mould but it is not without interest either, even that from a low sized hill illuminated by some fleeting evening sunshine.
