With Blencathra immediately behind me, you'd be forgiven for wondering why I bothered sharing a vista containing some more nondescript neighbour across the valley from it. Well, apart from not needing every fell in Cumbria to have star quality, the lesser celebrated ones might offer some peace and quiet on a day when other parts of the Lake District are heaving. However, just some of those well visited heights beyond what you above with Helvellyn being just being one of a number. Looking at the map while I write these words has me tempted and seeing busier hills from a lesser frequented spot sounds good to me.
