Grosvener Park, Chester, Cheshire, England

Chester may be better known for its architectural heritage but it has its green spaces too as the existence of Grosvenor Park proves. As if the peaceful greenery weren't a sufficient attraction in itself, a miniature train runs for the amusement of younger visitors. In fact, it was in operation during my most recent visit to the city and the track is well hidden by the late summer foliage in the photo. What I was attempting to do was capture the delightful combination of sunlit vegetation and blue sky. Hopeful, I have achieved what I set out to do.
