A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

Shehy Mountain and Tomies Mountain from Ross Bay, Lough Leane, Killarney, Co. Kerry, Éire

If you had any questions as to how the views from the shore beside Ross Castle are, then this photo should answer them. Looking over both Ross Bay and Ross Islands brings the eye to a collection of outliers from the ridge that is Macgillycuddy's Reeks, separated from the Reeks by the esteemed Gap of Dunloe in fact. Though the mists, Shehy Mountain and near neighbour Tomies Mountain make up the bulk of what is seen. Even so, I cannot discount the chances of seeing Purple Mountain or the Reeks themselves either.
