A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

Moel Famau, Ruthin, Denbighshire, Wales

A few miles east of Ruthin lie the hills of the Clwydian Range with Moel Famau being a particular people magnet for residents from Liverpool, Chester and so on. Visiting mid-week is best if you want solitude, according to my copy of the Rough Guide to Wales (though that dates from 2000 and is getting on in years now). The Offa's Dyke Path national trail goes over these hills on its way between Prestatyn and Chepstow so that has to add to their popularity with walkers.
