A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

Rainy Rock, Marloes, Pembrokeshire, Wales

Continuing in the direction opposite to that in which I walked it, this is a sample of the drama that can found along the Pembrokeshire coast. What really caught my attention with the coastline above is its primordial and other-worldly feel. Were it not for the greenery on the bottom left, this could well have been a scene from before life began to invade land on earth. Rainy Rock is among those broken shards of land surrounded by the waters of the Atlantic while the once-attached-to-the-mainland Gateholm Island looms at the back of it all.
