Martin's Haven, Marloes, Pembrokeshire, Wales

The main bank of land in the picture is well on its way to becoming an island like Skomer to its left. A casual inspection of a map or even a view on the ground can lead to the conclusion that this peninsula extended further into the Atlantic before the latter's ferocity rolled things back. All around here is the Skomer Marine Nature Reserve and St Martin's Haven is an epicentre for fishing, scuba diving and boat trips to see the bird life, some of which dot the sky above.
