A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

Cadair Idris kept to its habit of wearing a cloudy cap on the day that this scene lifted my spirits along all the others like it. However, Diffwys, Moelfre, Y Llethr, Rhinog Fach and Rhinog Fawr left the clouds to take on the appearance of puffed-up pieces of cotton wool in the sky, making it a much more interesting sight. Though I may have been questioning the sense of continuing to the top of Diffwys with the end of a February afternoon in sight, the vistas sent gratitude my way as recompense for the effort. Some snow lay about as evidence of a colder winter than that to which we had become accustomed. Civilisation isn't far from here though that isn't how appears while you're out here. After all, that's how a day trip to Dyffryn Ardudwy to take in a Rhinog summit was feasible; it's always good that you can do this to free the human spirit in a world that would imprison it if allowed to do so.
