A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

Glyderau, Ogwen Valley, Gwynedd, Wales

Going further down the valley towards Bethesda gains you this view of the Glyderau (Glyder Fach and Glyder Fawr). When you hear of anyone doing the Glyder traverse, it means that they are going over these two. It sounded fearsome when I first heard of it but it now seems tamer (maybe I'm getting used to heady heights) though caution is definitely required in misty, damp and icy conditions. However, there is a version of the traverse that starts out in Capel Curig and ends in Bethesda: some trek.
