A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

Glyder Fawr, Llanberis, Gwynedd, Wales

Glyder Fawr, Llanberis, Gwynedd, Wales

Near the top of the busy Llanberis track, you can find views like this across the the Pass of Llanberis from Snowdon and its near neighbours. What you have in front of you is the more rounded face of Glyder Fawr with Y Garn and Foel Goch to the left. Some tops of the Carneddau can just be glimpsed in the distance beyond. What isn't so obvious is the scale of things though I can assure that getting up to the col between Glyder Fawr and Y Garn is hard work, especially of a hot July day like the one when I started a walk to the Ogwen Valley from Llanberis. Try and pick out any houses and the road from the bottom left-hand corner to see what I mean.
