Nevertheless, you can come away with pleasing photos regardless of time limitations and this is an example. Despite planning to explore the Carneddau from their northern side, it hasn't happened yet. Given that Bethesda and Gerlan aren't without reasonable bus services, that seems a pity. That they aren't overrun with outdoors types adds to the feeling that this is away from the beaten track.
