A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

Yr Elen & Carnedd Dafydd, Gerlan, Gwynedd, Wales

There are days when you arrive later than planned and have to content yourself with poking around an area with an eye on the future due to time constraints. Nevertheless, you can come away with pleasing photos regardless of time limitations and this is an example. Despite planning to explore the Carneddau from their northern side, it hasn't happened yet. Given that Bethesda and Gerlan aren't without reasonable bus services, that seems a pity. That they aren't overrun with outdoors types adds to the feeling that this is away from the beaten track. Yr Elen and Carnedd Dafydd are what are laid before you above and I think that its high time that I walked in to see them up close and personal.
