A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

Getting to the top of Moel Siabod is no walk in the park as I found when I did just that; well, it's all steep sides. However, this image dates from a walk that took me around it while en route to Capel Curig and Llyn Ogwen. That's not to say that I wasn't sorely tempted that time but I am glad that I left it for a time when I had lodgings organised in Capel Curig.

Saying all that, testing gradients do take their toll when you have everything for a weekend away on your back. Therefore, I took my time and didn't rush things as the vistas opened up around me. Once on the summit, I was staggered at what could seen from there. All in all, it was a what's what of the surrounding hills with Snowdon to the west with the Glyderau and Carneddau to the north. Ascending something that sits so proud of its surroundings does have masses of rewards.
