Alltwen Fort, Capelulo, Conwy, Wales

The North Wales coast has its scenic drama too and things get very interesting around the Sychnant Pass, which explains why there were a good few folk about the place when I passed through on the North Wales Path. Reassuringly, you are a little away from the coast around here though the wide paths and tracks should address any uneasy feelings regarding steep slopes lapped by the sea. Still, you'd hardly think that you're not far from the town of Conwy, would you?
