A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

Moving inland from the coast, we reach Gougane Barra, where we will be staying for the next few photos. It is home to the source of the River Lee which approaches the sea by the city of Cork. The river's first lake is also hereabouts and occupies the foreground of the above photo capturing a view to the northeast over its waters. Also conspicuous is a sample of the hill country that makes the spot a really special one.
