A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

Leaping around in terms of the real life chronology, we now come to the old railway line that now carries both the Rob Roy Way and the Callander and Strathyre Cycle Route. The day on which I captured this scene, the day before the one we have just seen, started off very cloudy and cloud continued to frustrate photographic efforts until late in the day but the combination of good light and dramatic skies more than made up for the earlier lack of good fortune. At least, it never rained...
