A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

North of the hostel there is a beach from which there are brilliant views. Above is the westward view across Loch Lomond towards Inverbeg and the hills behind it. It may look it here but the A82 is tracing its way along the shoreline and, while road traffic could be seen, its attendant noise thankfully didn’t travel through the air so peace was ensured. That groove in the hills is Glen Douglas and there is minor road threading its way through it to the shores of Loch Long south of Arrochar.
