A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

Looking north from the same beach that we met previously gains you vistas featuring hill country beyond Tarbet. The slopes in shadow are those of the foothills of Ben Lomond; Tom Fithich and Ptarmigan come to mind. Because there is a twist in the loch near Tarbet, you need to be careful to identify correctly what you are seeing. Without realising, I could easily presumed that I seeing some of the Crianlarich hills. On the contrary, it seems that Arrochar Alps are the towering behemoths lit up by the morning sunshine.
