A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

What really should make the Trotternish well known is its more primeval rocky landscapes. So, it's apt to show you a close up view of a little of what is on offer. In truth, I have yet to clamber among this lot to any extent though I did walk through the heart of the broken backbone while walking from Brogaig to Uig a few years back. There's plenty weirdness to be experienced on exploring the likes of Meall na Suiramach, The Needle, The Prison and The Table and they're all within walking distance of where this photo was taken. As if that collection weren't enough the inland cliff and all its otherworldly contortions extends for mile after mile.
