A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

Marsco, Minginish, Isle of Skye, Scotland

Some call Skye's Red Hills its Red Cuillin but that isn't how it should be. Both Chris Townsend of TGO fame and Terry Marsh, author of Cicerone's guide to walking on the island, use the former title and I have no reason to do otherwise. Though it is place right next to Cuillin Outliers, Marsco is one of the Red Hills though it doesn't have scree strewn lower slopes like the others. Its profile is of the sugar loaf variety too and makes it both a useful landmark and a photographic subject like it is here.
