A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

Pitlochry, Perthshire, Scotland

My first stay in Pitlochry was on the Sunday night of a May Day bank holiday weekend and that's when the above vista got captured. Ben Vrackie presented a temptation as it looms behind the town but it is the sight of spring flowers in the late evening spring sunshine that really make this scene. My sojourn then was short but it led to a longer stay where more delights were explored but even these were but a small sample of what the area has to offer. Another visit is a possibility and I might even use a bike to help me to get about a bit more. And that could add more photos to extend this gallery beyond where it finishes, as could a few days on the Rob Roy Way itself.
