A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

Craignure, Isle of Mull, Scotland

Craignure, Isle of Mull, Scotland

Further up the east coast of Mull is Craignure, one of the island's ferry ports. The picture above is of its approach on the ferry from Oban. In fact, it is the terminus for services to and from Oban. Fionnphort, on the south-west of the islands is the hub for services to and from Iona while Tobermory, the island's capital, is the point of departure for other services.

There is not much to Craignure apart from the ferry terminal and a collection of houses. Still, it is near to attractions like Torosay and Duart castles (possibly Mull's best attractions, in my opinion) as well as being a hub for coach services to Tobermory and Fionnphort.
