A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

Stob Coire na h-Eirghe, Kinlochleven, Lochaber, Scotland

The West Highland Way literally drops down into Kinlochleven only for it climb out again. Either ascent is not for the unfit and descents require due care and attention. This photo was taken from a knoll not far from Beinn na Caillich and the beady eyed among you may have noticed the track that is the West Highland Way skirting the side of the hill opposite. Beyond that lurks the main feature of the picture, Stob Coire na h-Eirghe, with the main attraction of this route, Stob Bàn, lying in the distance.
