A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

Stob Coire Na Ceannain, Grey Corries, Lochaber, Scotland

Another May Day weekend view, this is in the heart of the Grey Corries. Stob Coire na Ceannain is holding on to its winter snows and there are many other hills doing the same so it is no exception. My walk that Saturday started in Corrour and I skirted Loch Treig on my way over the Lairig Leacach to Spean Bridge. I was on the home stretch when I captured this scene but there were still around two hours to go before I reached my destination. That just goes to show how isolated these places can be and why you need to go prepared for all eventualities.
