Meall an tSlamain, Fort William, Lochaber, Scotland

This is the view from the Great Glen Way as it goes from Caol into Fort William. We are changing season again as this is yet another January panorama, even if the green grass might suggest otherwise. The hills of Ardnamurchan, another area that I have yet to explore, are showing from across Loch Linnhe with the River Lochy plying its way to that destination in the foreground. This scene presented itself to me not long after I arrived and booked my accommodation: the beginning of a good day's walking.
