A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

Beinn Ghlas from Firbush Point, Killin, Stirlingshire, Scotland

Every year, while I was there, the University of Edinburgh Physical Chemistry section used to take itself off for a three day meeting every summer at the university field centre on the southern shore of Loch Tay. Being landed smack in the middle of enticing countryside was guaranteed to get the camera out and the appearance of a near magical mist on the slopes of Beinn Ghlas provided even more encouragement if ever it was needed. The sheet quality of the mist may not have transferred completely to film but I hope that you get the idea.
