Diverting away from the Water of Leith Walkway, we reach the Royal Botanic Garden. It is home to a varied selection of plants, containing among other things a generous variety of rhododendron. One of these, with yellow flowers, appears above. The place is also home to plants too tender to survive the Scottish climate and these are kept in exhibition houses like the one above.
