A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

Three Brethern, Selkirk, Borders, Scotland

As far as I can determine it, there seems to be no name for the summit on which these three cairns sit. My only encounter with them so far was on a walk from Selkirk to Melrose that used the Southern Upland Way for much of the distance travelled. Looking east took my eyes towards the Eildon Hills near Melrose where casting my eyes the other way raised the possibility of a walk from Selkirk to Traquair along the course of the same national trail. There may be time for that yet though I tend to let the future turn out how it does rather than planning every detail only for those designs to be overtaken by events.
