A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

Capper Law from St. Mary's Loch, Borders, Scotland

While transfixed on the shore of St. Mary's Loch, I made quite a few exposures and a sort of triptych has made it into this album. What you see above in the middle picture with the left and right counterparts also to be found. What really made the scene for me on the day was the stillness of the waters and the reflections of the hills round about them. Speaking of hills, the heathery hummock in the middle is Capper Law with the forested slopes of Bridge End Hill and Bowerhope framing the vista.
