Camp Law Plantation, Peebles, Borders, Scotland

My first venture into the hill country around Peebles was on a day that wasn't so inspiring in its earlier hours. Nevertheless, it staged a transformation and what I got was a glorious evening when I reluctantly left the hills behind me to return to Edinburgh to meet up with friends. In the early stages of the walk, I passed through woodland with foliage still fresh after the burst of growth that spring. There was more like it to be seen on my return via Haystoun Farm.
