A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

A closer look at the mountains that we have been viewing from Brodick, this was taken on my trek to the top of Goatfell. On a way where cloudiness and heavy showers were very much in evidence, I could not be take advantage of what was a welcome sunny interlude, especially with the scenery round about me. The photos that you seen in this gallery up to now were taken the next day when the pleasant morning sunshine was so memorable (there was also a heavy shower and that was forgettable) that I was out exposing film and engaging in digital capture, delaying my breakfast with these activities. If there was more sunshine on the day before, I perhaps would not have moved as fast as I did, a price that would have been paid for my taking loads of photos.
