A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

Black Mount, Glen Coe, Argyll & Bute, Scotland

Earlier, we have seen the Black Mount and Buachaille Etive Mor from the south and east; this is one of the many vistas offered from the west and north. Buachaille Etive Mor is represented by the shoulder of Stob Dearg obscuring our view of the Black Mount with Sròn na Creise and Creag Dhubh both making their appearances. I was descending the Devil's Staircase on the West Highland Way when I was treated to this view and it would have been all the better if there was a little less cloud and a lot more sun. Whenever I go walking in Glencoe, I always seem to find it cloudy; must be revenge for all the times that I have passed through on the bus on sunny days without stopping.
