A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

Ben Cruachan, Argyll, Scotland

On my way along Loch Etive, I passed by the not insubstantial Ben Cruachan ridge. Head towards Taynuilt from Glen Kinglass or beyond and you'll witness a view this. Ben Cruachan's 1126 m (3693 ft) not only makes it a target for Munro baggers but also that it dominates the landscape around both Loch Etive and nearby Loch Awe. In fact, it can seen from where Glen Etive ends and Loch Etive begins.
