A Wanderer's Photo Gallery
One of the things that gets me exploring Britain and Ireland is the prospect of bringing away some pleasing photos of my own making with me. Not only has that fostered the growth of an interest in hillwalking and cycling but it also has driven me to further the photography itself. All that has created the library of images from which the collections that you find here have been drawn.

In spite of any appearance to the contrary, the day on which this photo was taken was a showery affair that deteriorated into a wet evening. Thankfully, the sun actually came out from behind the clouds and lit up scenes like this for a while, particularly as I neared Taynuilt after walking from Oban via Glen Lonan. I continued onto beyond Glen Noe on the shores of Loch Etive and got to witness some dramatic skies before returning to Taynuilt and then Oban before it got too wet.
