Here is a fuller view of the hunk that is Ben Nevis over Nevis Forest on the same January afternoon on which the other vistas presented were experienced. As you will see later, the 1334 m Ben is far from being the only attraction in Glen Nevis. There are easy low level walks in Nevis Forest and copious opportunities for mountaineering in the Mamores. Not only all of these but beyond the head of the glen there is ample wild country for those who fancy longer walks or a spot of backpacking. And there is much much more to Lochaber than even all of this.
